Ingredients
10 or more tart apples
Honey or brown sugar
Water

Directions
Peel apples and cut into chunks. Place in pot with water halfway up to the depth of the apples. Add ¼ cup sugar or honey. Bring to a boil and simmer, covered, until tender. Add more sweetener or water if necessary. Serve cold with latkes.
