Ingredients
1 ½ lb. mixed dried fruit
6 c. water
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
½ c. sugar

Directions
Soak the dry fruit in water for 2 hours. Bring to a boil in the soaking liquid. Add sugar and lemon juice; lower the heat and cover the pot. Cook for about 45 minutes or until tender. Chill and serve.
